COVID-19 Operational Statement

We would like to take this opportunity to assure our team, our clients and our partners that until the transportation industry is categorized as non-essential and ordered to pause, Nankai Transport International USA Inc will continue to operate at modified capacity. We will continue operations on all our core services. We will implement different protocols and procedures to accommodate recommended safety practices such as wearing masks and having social distancing for our team members that work in the warehouse and office as needed. As everyone is becoming aware, the supply chain and logistics industries are not only the backbone of the economy but also of the medical relief efforts of which we are actively supporting. It is for these reasons that we continue to be open and operate for our customers, and it is our privilege to work in this industry and to support each other, and the overall global relief effort safely and effectively.

While in our premises, we observer the following safety protocols. Thank you all for your consideration and cooperation, and be safe.

  • Hours (normal hours but call ahead in case of changes)
  • Make Appointments (when possible appointments are recommended)
  • Required use of face coverings (No mask, No service. Everyone must wear a face mask while in premises)
  • Temperature Readings (everyone is subject to temperature reading at the entrance)
  • Social Distancing of six feet is required at all times

The state orders recently announced in California, New York, Illinois and Georgia continue to permit the operation of essential businesses. The federal government has identified transportation and logistics services (beyond the transportation of cargo, this includes employees supporting or enabling transportation functions, firms that enable transportation logistics, automotive repair and maintenance facilities, manufacturers and distributors of packaging and distribution and staging materials, and employees who repair and maintain vehicles) as part of the essential critical infrastructure, and no state-level order has yet sought to curtail these essential operations.
